Former African Footballer of the year, Kanu Nwankwo is surely going through a very difficult time at this moment.
As he is battling to get his hotel in Lagos, Hardly Apartment located in Victoria Island, handed over to him by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), his home is having a serious issue that spilled to the public.
Over the weekend, the beautiful wife of the former Arsenal FC star, Amara, insulted the younger brother of the former Nigerian international, Ogbonna.
On her Instagram page, Amara rained abuses on her brother-in-law, calling him a useless man and an unfortunate being.
Trouble started when Ogbonna, who is married to the younger sister of a popular blogger in Nigeria, Laura Ikeji, posted a ticket to the Leeds United league match in England on Saturday.
Amara went on the comment session to write, “You are a coward and liar. That’s my son’s ticket. He was supposed to follow his dad to the Leeds game today but no. You have never allowed Kanu to be in peace with his family.
“You tried that with me all these years thinking I will die and now you want to come near my children. You can’t. You won’t. Oloshi oloriburuku (meaning useless and unfortunate being in Yoruba language). Borrow pose. @ogbobekee1, don’t mess with my children’s things or their dad.”
The issue has generated mixed reactions on social media with some rebuking Amara for disgracing her husband’s brother on social media.
However, those in support of the footballer’s wife blamed Ogbonna for not allowing his brother live with his family in peace.
They said since Ogbonna was now married, he should spend more time with his young family and give his ‘rich’ brother a breathing space.
We heard family members of the footballer are not happy with this development and are making efforts not to make degenerate into something bad.
Meanwhile, Ogbonna has deleted the comment made by Amara on his post on Instagram.
