The Super Eagles of Nigeria is now one leg in the FIFA World Cup to be held in Brazil in 2014. The national football team mauled the Flames of Malawi by two goals to nil in Calabar on Saturday evening.
Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses shared the two goals by Nigeria against Malawi at the 45 and 52 minutes in the game, which sent the country packing from the last but one round of qualifiers.
Nigeria has now made it to the final round of qualifiers and will slug it out with nine other countries to fight for the five spots allotted to Africa.
