The governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, has declared his total support for President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term in Aso Rock in 2015.
Speaking on Saturday during the inauguration/swearing in ceremony of 17 local government chairmen in the state at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, Chime informed the gathering that he is fully behind the administration of Jonathan.
“We pledge our total loyalty to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, we support him and all his programmes. As long as he continues in this business, we are solidly behind him. He will not need to come to Enugu State to campaign, if and when he declares to contest in 2015 [because we will vote for him].”
Chime warned the All Progressives Congress, APC, to stay away from Enugu State because they cannot control the state.
He urged the people of the state to continue to support President Jonathan because he has good intentions in making them enjoy the dividends of democracy.
