Nigeria’s embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, has allegedly moved to promptly edit her online profiles to adjust her academic qualifications. Oduah had earlier allegedly claimed to have obtained an MBA degree from St Paul’s College, Lawrenceville, Virginia, United States of America, but a report by SaharaReporters claimed the institution denied awarding an MBA to Oduah.
According to the report, the school has not run such programme since its inception 125 years ago. This was after the online newspaper made an enquiry to the school to confirm Oduah’s academic claims, which she submitted to the Senate during her screening as Minister in 2011.
After the bubble burst, the Minister has now reportedly moved to save herself from the embarrassment. Her profiles online now have changed and do not indicate which university she obtained her degrees from.
Her personal website and wikipedia profiles are presently without the name of the schools she got her first and second degrees from.
Also, the spokesman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Yakubu Datti, is yet to respond to an SMS sent to him by Aproko247 on this matter.
