There are strong indications that President Goodluck Jonathan may eventually drop embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, as the President is set to reshuffle his cabinet, barely 14 months to the next general elections.
Few days ago, President Jonathan hinted that he would forward the names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for approval. This was when he hosted the North-West caucus of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, who paid him a courtesy visit at the State House.
As reported by Leadership newspaper, only four present members of Jonathan’s cabinet may likely survive the imminent shake-up. They are; Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke (Petroleum), Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy), Dr Akinwunmi Adesina (Agriculture), and Labaran Maku (Information and Supervising Minister of Defence).
If this eventually happens, Oduah will be dropped by the President and replaced by another person.
