A former Commissioner in Ondo State, Ranti Akerele, has died. Late Akerele was the ex-Commissioner for Information in the state. The veteran broadcaster gave up the ghost on Tuesday morning.
Late Akerele was the first Commissioner of Information under the current administration of governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Until his death, the broadcaster was a Pastor at a Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG, parish in Akure, the state capital. He was reportedly found dead on his bed on Tuesday morning.
Information gathered by Aproko247 revealed that before the deceased slept last night, he instructed his security guard to put off the power generating set at 12:30am.
