Aproko247 has learnt that arrested Yoruba budding actress-cum-producer, Yetunde Akilapa, who got into trouble again on Sunday, has been released by the police in Lagos.
On Sunday, the actress was allegedly caught for house burglary. She was nabbed this time at a flat in Magodo Estate, a highbrow area of Lagos State. A bunch of master keys was allegedly found on Yetunde, hidden in her bra.
After she was beaten to a pulp, she was taken to a police station in the area, where she was detained.
We scooped that she was released on Monday through the help of her lawyer, Bosun Osifowora.
In February 2013, Yetunde was arrested for same alleged offence. She was then remanded at the Kirikiri Prison, Lagos. In November, the court discharged and acquitted her when her prosecutor could not present a good case to nail her.
In December 2013, she granted an interview to a Lagos-based magazine, claiming her friends set her up over a misunderstanding.
