The younger sister to the Senate President, David Mark, Mrs Mary Onma-Adakole, has died. The sibling of the retired military officer turned politician died at the age of 35 at an Abuja hospital during child birth.
A statement released on Thursday by the Special Adviser to Mark on Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, described the deceased as a “straight forward, hardworking and benevolent [woman]with plenty of vision and hope for a greater tomorrow.”
Mark noted that the death of his sister was a huge loss to the entire family.
The statement also disclosed that Mrs Onma-Adakole will be buried on Friday in her home town in Otukpo, Benue State.
