Members of the House of Representatives have again thrown decorum in the air as they engaged themselves in a free-for-all-fight on the floor of the Assembly on Tuesday, Aproko247 can authoritatively report.
The ugly incident, which is live on a national television, was caused by an Abuja Federal High Court ruling on Monday, which ordered the House to stop any form of leadership change.
The Minority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, while trying to make the change in the House leadership, referred to the Deputy Leader of the House, Leo Ogor, as the ‘Deputy Minority Leader,’ which caused the mayhem between members of the two main political parties in the green chamber; the All Progressives Congress, APC; and the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
Members of the PDP rose to kick against Gbajabiamila’s move and rushed to take over the Majority seat on the floor of the Assembly from him.
More details shortly.
