Emerging Music Star, Lace, Drops 'Benin To Nigeria' Album Feb 14

On 2014 Valentine’s Day, which is February 14, fast-rising artiste, Taiwo Agbohunsa, well known as Lace, will hold his album release party in Lagos. The event is slated to take place at Terra Kulture by 8pm.

The duo of popular comedian, Omobaba 1, and TV girl, Labi Layori, will anchor the release party, while DJ Spinall of Beat Fm will be on the turntable.

The extraordinary talented singer is well known for his hit single, ‘Sebi Wo’, which was dropped in 2010.

His new album is entitled ‘Benin To Nigeria’.

Lace, regarded by pundits as the future of trado-contemporary music in Africa, has constantly been defining his own kind of sound, which shows maturity in its lyrical and vocal contents, and delivered in his native Benin republic mother-tongue of Egun as well as in Yoruba and English languages.

In the new album, Lace featured few test and trusted acts like 9ice, Skales.

K-Solo supervised the production along with other prolific producers like FlipTyce, Frankie Free and DJ Toxiq, a female producer.

Tracks in the album tipped to top music charts include; ‘Which One You Dey’, ‘Feere’, ‘Iyawo Mi’, ‘Omoge Campus’ featuring Sklaes, Remember’ featuring 9ice, ‘Dakpada’, among many others.

Lace is signed under Dozage Records. The album is expected to be marketed by UBA Pacific.
