There seems to be a big crisis looming in Monalisa Chinda’s magazine outfit as another senior staff of her magazine, Monalisa, has dumped the organisation. This is coming when the dust raised by the bitter resignation of the publication’s pioneer editor, Kelvin Keshi, is yet to settle.
After Keshi left the organisation, the Fashion editor of the paper, Estella Ogbonna, was promoted to the position of an acting editor. She reportedly resumed the post about two months ago, but she has now left the company.
Information scooped by Aproko247 reveals that Ogbonna dumped Monalisa because the actress and her lover-turned-business partner, Lanre Nzeribe, allegedly failed to honour their own part of the contract she signed with the magazine.
We gathered that Ogbonna is a fashion designer, who runs a fashion business in the United States. She relocated to Nigeria in 2013 to work with Monalisa.
Few weeks ago, Monalisa was taken to court by Kelvin after she described him (Kelvin) in an interview with a Lagos-based magazine as a ‘half-baked journalist’.
