20 Die In Fresh Jos Attack

No fewer than 20 persons were feared dead on Thursday in Plateau State by some gunmen. The latest attack occurred in Mavou village area of the state under Wade local govrre area.

The invaders stormed inhabitants of the village at about 2am on Thursday and burnt down about 10 houses.

Police spokesperson in the state, DSP Felicia Anslem, confirmed the attack, but stated that she was yet to get the details.

Thursday’s attack is coming barely 48 hours after over 30 people were killed in two villages of Riyom local council of Plateau State.

It was gathered that the gunmen sporadically shot into the air when they arrived the village. Some of the villagers ran to safety during the attack.
