Candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in the 2011 Kwara State governorship election, Mohammed Dele Belgore, has decamped to the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP. Belgore announced his defection on Wednesday in Ilorin, the state capital.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria further claimed that the APC undemocratically handed over the party’s structure to new entrants into the party without considering those that laboured hard to set up the structure in the first place.
Belgore urged his supporters to join him in his new party, stating that he finally dumped the party having tried all avenues to amend things, which woefully failed.
Recall that Bukola Saraki, a former governor of the state, recently decamped from the PDP to the APC. He is believed to have the full grip of the state politics in his hands.
