Barely 48 hours after members of the outlawed terrorist group called Boko Haram attacked Konduga village in Borno State, the community, which is some kilometres away from Maiduguri, the state capital, is again under siege.
On Thursday, the Boko Haram insurgents invaded Konduga village, terrorising its inhabitants.
Several gunshots were heard in Konduga village as well as the neighbouring Mailari village.
Some houses were touched by the invaders while residents of the area ran to safety.
On Tuesday, members of the terrorist group killed about 39 persons and razed down several houses in a operation that lasted more than three hours. It was learnt that hundreds of the insurgents carried out the Tuesday’s attack.
