Chairman of Daar Communications Limited, High Chief Raymond Alegho Dokpesi, has berated vocal Ijaw leader, Edwin Clark for criticising his (Dokpesi) rumoured choice as President Goodluck Jonathan’s Chief of Staff.
Few days ago, the elder statesman addressed a news conference in Bayelsa, stating that it would be a wrong choice for Jonathan to appoint the AIT boss as his CoS.
He alleged Dokpesi of being an antagonist of Jonathan’s administration, alleging him further of being one of the brains behind the October 1, 2010 twin bomb blasts in Abuja.
Reacting to Clark’s comments via a statement signed by his Executive Assistant, Okiemute Olori, Dokpesi slammed the Ijaw leader for making such remarhis against his person. He said Clark has a “deep seated hatred for” him, which he (Clark) has not hidden. He described the attacks by the elder statesman as “premeditated and preemptive.”
He further accused Clark of not believing “in the unity of Nigeria and has done more harm than good to the present administration in pursuit of his personal interests.”
On Tuesday, the President remove Mike Ogiadomhe as his CoS. Ogiadomhe hails from the same state (Edo) with Dokpesi.
