Wife of former National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Bamanga Tukur, Hajiya Asiya Mohammed Bello, has dumped the ruling party, which also her husband’s party, to join the opposition, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Hajiya Bello, on Thursday, registered with the APC at Gabasawa Ward in Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna North local government area of Kaduna State with registration card number 0623374.
Her husband was forced to resign after his administration resulted into the factionalisation of the PDP, with some aggrieved members of the party joining the opposition, including five governors, over 30 House of Reps members and 11 Senators.
