The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared the owner of Standard Chartered Securities, Olabode Jacob O Obayomi, wanted over his alleged involvement in a N215 million fraud.
A statement signed by the Commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, disclosed that Obayomi’s “last known address is Oke-Ero, Aiyedun Area of Kwara State.”
The statement added that Obayomi is dark in complexion and is “about 45 years old and speaks Yoruba and English fluently.”
“The public is hereby notified that Olabode Jacob O Obayomi, the owner of Standard Chartered Securities Limited of 116-118, Lagos House, Central Area, Garki, Abuja; Blue-Chip Securities Limited on 35 Marina Street, Lagos and 29 Iwo road , Ibadan, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Diversion of Public Funds and Breach of trust involving the unauthorized sale of over N251 million worth of stock belonging to Ebonyi State Government.
“Anybody having useful information as to his whereabouts should contact the Commission in its Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt and Abuja offices or through these numbers 09-4604620, 070-26350721,070-26350722,070-26350723,070-6350724, 070-26350725 ; its e-mail address: [email protected] or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies,” the anti.graft agency appealed.
