Barely 48hours after insurgents unleashed terror on a school in Yobe State, killing scores of students, the group has again invaded three villages in Adamawa State.
It was gathered that sporadic gunshots were heard in three communities in the state on Wednesday night while residents of the villages ran to safety.
The gunmen, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram group, raided Kirchiga, Shuwa and Michika communities on Wednesday night. They stormed the towns in commando style, shooting sporadically and causing havoc in the villages.
As at the time of filing this report, the casualty figure was not known.
There have been series of deadly attacks in the north eastern part of Nigeria in the past few days.
