Nasarawa Dep Gov Quits APC For PDP

Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Damishi Barau, has finally joined the Peoples’ Democratoc Party, PDP. Barau decamped to the new party from the All Progressives Congress, APC. He withdrew his membership from the APC on Monday.

Barau was before the defection under suspension from the party. He tendered his defection letter to the state secretary of the APC on Monday morning.

There have been speculations for some months now that Barau would leave the APC to join the PDP. His Monday’s move has finally brought an end to such rumours.

Lately, there have been frequent defections between members of the PDP and the APC.
