Members of the dreaded Boko Haram group have again launched an attack on Giwa Military Barracks in Maiduguri, Borno State, barely 24 hours it first carried out a failed invasion on the army settlement.
The latest attack is happening despite the 24-hour curfew imposed on Maiduguri and its environs following a deadly clash between the military and the terrorists’ group.
Aproko247 gathered from reports that the insurgents engaged the army formation at about 8am on Saturday using several explosives. It was also gathered that several gunshots were heard in the area.
On Friday, the army claimed it killed over 100 members of Boko Haram.
