No fewer than six persons died on Tuesday morning in a suicide bomb attack in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.
Residents claimed that the suicide bomber may have been a member of the radical Nigerian Islamic group called Boko Haram.
The attack occurred at Dalori Quarter along Bama road, which is about 2km to Maiduguri.
Borno has recently been plagued with incessant attacks by members of the dreaded terrorist group. The state is presently under emergency rule, which was declared in May 2013.
