Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the 2013 Anambra State governorship election, Ifeanyi Ubah, has quit his party to join the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, reports say.
The oil and gas businessman was reportedly seen on Friday at the Wadata Plaza, National Secretariat of the ruling PDP, discussing with some of the party’s bigwigs. It was said that Ubah later had talks with the National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Muazu and the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisah Metuh.
Reports further stated that Ubah was seen with PDP flagbearer in the June 2014 gubernatorial poll in Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, as he (Fayose) was presented with the certificate of return.
Ubah was in Abuja with the Chairman of PDP in Anambra State, Ken Emeakayi.
