Adam Attah, first civilian governor of Kwara State, has died. Attah passed away on Thursday at his residence along Airport Road in Abuja.
The deceased was a lawyer by profession and was a former Federal Permanent Secretary. Late Attah was buried this evening according to Islamic rites at his Kuroko residence in Okene, Kogi State.
Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State and his deputy, Yomi Awiniyi, were among the dignitaries present at his burial today.
He was aged 83 and was an Ebira Prince. Late Attah died after a protracted illness.
