The remains of late Nollywood icon, Amaka Igwe, would be laid to rest on June 13, 2014 in her marital hometown in Imo State, her families have announced. The founder of Top Radio 99.9 FM, Lagos, died on April 28, 2014 in Enugu State during a movie shoot.
The deceased would be buried on June 13 at Ndiuche Arondizuogu in Imo State. Before then, a tribute evening and Lagos Service of Songs would hold at Haven Gardens G.R.A Ikeja on June 9, while a Service of Songs would take place at the Okpara Square, Enugu on June 12.
To carry many along, a tribute website has been created for her, www.amakaigwe.ng, which would be used for goodwill messages and pictures. Tweets and Facebook posts will also be put on the website.
