Gombe Monarch, Shehu Abubakar, Dies In London

The death of the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Shehu Abubakar, has been announced. The monarch passed on in London on Tuesday.

Late Abubakar, according to Gombe State Government, died of an unspecified cause.

The deceased reportedly travelled to London sometime ago for an undisclosed reason. The news of Abubakar’s demise has hit the state with shock. He was said to have been loved by his subjects because of his exemplary lifestyle.
