Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, has stressed that there is no trouble in the team’s camp as some people are speculating. The skipper spoke during a press conference in Brazil ahead of the team’s all important game on Saturday night against Bosnia.
Yobo stated that the atmosphere in camp is lively, adding that everyone, including the coach, Stephen Keshi, are in high spirit ahead of the match tonight.
“There is no murmuring in the camp as some people are spreading. To say the truth, I don’t know where this is coming from and which section of the media and why they are doing this. This is a pure distraction, but we are focused. Everybody is fine in the camp and we are in high spirit ahead of our game,” Yobo told newsmen in Brazil.
Nigeria played a barren draw against Iran in her first game at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The team will play its last match against Argentina, which defeated the Eagles by one goal to nil at the group stage four years ago in South Africa.
