It has been revealed that top Nigerian entertainer, Helen Paul, better known as ‘Tatafo’, has been signed as a brand ambassador of Glo. She has joined the swelling list of Nigerian celebs that hold similar positions for the indigenous telecommunication company.
The news was confirmed to Aproko247 by her publicist, Bayo Adetu, in a statement on Wednesday.
Adetu revealed that though the contract was sealed in May, it was only made official earlier this week. He also hinted that the mouth-watering endorsement deal worth several millions of naira.
“Helen Paul is now a Globacom ambassador and she is extremely happy about it, just as anybody in her shoes would be. Glo is a massive brand everybody loves to be associated with,” Adetu said in the statement.
He also disclosed that the co-host of M-Net Africa Magic’s ‘JARA’ has signed “an endorsement deal with GoTV, a cable television station owned by Multichoice.” The deal, according to the respected journalist, was also sealed in May.
Tatafo, blessed with a petite stature and a voice range that makes many guess she is less than 10 years of age, has a way of holding her audience spellbound anytime she performs. She is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.
She currently anchors two radio programmes; Tatafo Gist on Naija FM and Comedy Drive Time With Tatafo on Metro FM every Fridays and Mondays respectively.
