Former military ruler, Muhammadu Buhari, is not among the past Nigerian leaders currently present at the National Council of States meeting holding inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting is the second in 2014.
President Goodluck Jonathan is the chairman of the meeting, which is attended by his Vice, former heads of state, the Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the 36 governors, former and present Chief Justices of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police.
