Brazil was humiliated on home soil on Tuesday by Germany in the first semi-final match played in the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup. The German Machines were too strong for the Samba Boys, who were crushed 7-1.
The match was already concluded in the first 30 minutes when Germany put five unreplied goals past Brazil.
It is Brazil’s worst defeat in World Cup history and also their worst loss since 1920 when they were beaten by Uruguay.
Meanwhile, German striker, Miroslav Klose inflicted more pain on Brazil when he broke the record earlier held by Brazilian legend, Ronaldo, as the highest goal scorer in World Cup. Ronaldo scored 15 goals in the competition, which he reached when Germany hosted the competition in 2006. Klose now has 16 goals to his name.
