The number of casualties recorded in the twin explosions that occurred in Kaduna on Wednesday afternoon has increased.
Aproko247 had earlier reported 22 persons dead in the first attack, but our correspondent has learnt that more than 60 lives have been lost in the two explosions. The two blasts occurred at few minutes interval.
Rescue efforts are ongoing, while victims are being moved to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the state. This is to curtail a breakdown of law and order. Security operatives in the state have been directed to ensure residents of the state adhere strictly to the order.
