Osita Chidoka Becomes New Aviation Minister

Former Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Osita Chidoka, has been sworn-in as the new Minister Aviation, a position left vacant by Stella Oduah, who was removed from office in February 2014 by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Chidoka was sworn-in on Wednesday by the President in Abuja. The ceremony was held some minutes before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting in Abuja.

Also sworn-in by Jonathan on Wednesday was Abubakar Olanrewaju, who was named Minister of National Planning. Olarenwaju replaces Shamsudeen Usman, who was removed in September 2013 by the President.

Chidoka hails from Anambra Sttate, while Olarenwaju is from Kwara State.
