A local council chairman in Lagos State, Semiu Kemi Surakat, has married a reporter with Lagos State Television as his new wife, Aproko247 has learnt. Forty-eight-year-old Surakat, Chairman of Ibeji-Lekki local government area of Lagos State, picked Kemi Fahm as his sixth wife few days ago.
The woman, in her 40s, is one of the people behind LTV 8’s programme, Access 57, a show that informs the public of happenings in the 57 local council developments areas of the state.
The lovers legalised their union at the Ikeja Marriage Registry on Thursday, July 17, 2014.
The new wife has reportedly moved into a rented apartment in Lekki.
She is reportedly a single mother of two. It was learnt that her first marriage failed sometimes ago.
