Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu, has quit the All Progressives Congress, APC, to pitch tent with the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
There have been speculations before now that the former presidential candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in 2011, which formed the APC with other opposition parties, would leave the APC to join the PDP.
Ribadu has been reportedly registered with the PDP in his ward in Yola South local council area of Adamawa State.
Information reaching Aproko247 suggests that he would contest in the October 11, 2014 Adamawa gubernatorial election, following the impeachement of Murtala Nyako and the resignation of James Ngalari, the deputy governor.
