All roads led to Azu Ogbunike in Oyi local government area of Anambra State on Friday, October 17, 2014, when prominent actress, Ngozi Ezeonu laid her mother to rest. The event was attended by some of her colleagues in the movie industry, who honoured her with their presence.
The deceased, Mrs Ezenwanyi Joy Nonyelum Ikpelue, was aged 65 and was fondly called ‘Madam Go Slow’ in her neighbourhood during her lifetime. The late mother of the actor, going by information divulged to Aproko247, was a philanthropist, who cared specially for widows in her community.

Ngozi and her siblings, we were also told, left no stone unturned in giving their mother a befitting burial and several people in their community bade the deceased farewell as she began her journey home.
