It would be recalled that some months ago, Fuji maestro, Abass Akande Obesere was alleged to have forcefully had a carnal knowledge of a lady, who he claimed he was dating at the time the incident occurred at his Okota home in Lagos. He was then arrested by the Police, who later freed him.
Aproko247 has now been informed that the energetic singer has hit the movie location to shoot a movie on the scandal that many thought would have ruined his music career.
The amiable Fuji star and self-acclaimed paramount King of Fuji music took some movie stars to Ikorodu, a suburb of Lagos to make the film.
Speaking on the new flick, Obesere said he decided to turn the scandal into movie because he had promised his fans and admirers that they would get to see the whole truth about the issue in a movie.
“I have promised people that the rApe scandal issue will be shot into movie for people to see and know the truth of the whole matter”.
The movie, to be titled ‘Stop Sebe’, is produced by a veteran filmmaker, Adio Majester, directed by Abbey Lanre and stars Akin Olaiya, Olaiya Igwe, Adio Majester, Regina Chukwu, Abass Akande Obesere, Liz Da Silva, Bayo Ogunde, Jide Bello, Aishat Omoge Campus among others.
The musician said further that though the lady involved cooked up the rape scandal story to obtain money from him but at last, the truth has been revealed.
However, we learnt that the movie will first go on cinema during Christmas and New Year festivals before it’s released into home video in 2015.
