The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has announced new dates for its primaries to elect candidates to fly the party’s flags in the 2015 House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and governorship elections.
Also, the party announced a shift in date for its ward congresses in electing ad-hoc delegates to partake in the four primaries.
APGA, in a statement, said ward congresses has been moved from Wednesday, November 12, 2014, to Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
The party further disclosed that the House of Assembly primaries earlier scheduled for November 20 will now take place on December 3, while the House of Representatives primaries will hold on December 4 as against the earlier November 26 date.
The primaries for the Senate, earlier planned for December 1, will now take place on December 6, while the earlier December 6 date for the gubernatorial primaries has been rescheduled for December 8.
