At least six persons were gruesomely killed in the late Friday evening bomb explosion that happened in Kano.
A suicide bomber was among those that died in the attack.
The incident, which occurred near an NNPC filling station in Hetoro area of Kano, caused pandemonium in the area. Several persons in the vicinity panicked and ran for dear lives.
It was gathered that the six people that were feared dead in the attack included three security agents, two civilians and a suicide bomber.
As at the time the bomb went off, about 7:30pm, there were heavy traffic in the area.
Kano State Police Commissioner, Adenrele Shinaba, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that the situation has since been brought under control and assured resident of their safety.
