Come December 10, 2014, the rightful candidate to fly the All Progressives Congress, APC, flag in the 2015 presidential election will be determined.
Already, the opposition party has screened those who bought the nomination forms of the APC and the arena is set to contain the gladiators.
Muhammadu Buhari, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Rochas Okorocha and Sam Nda-Isaiah have all been cleared by the Presidential Screening Committee of APC for the December 10 primaries.
All the candidates have started making moves to woo delegates to enable them clinch the party’s ticket.
A source within the APC informed Aproko247 that the five candidates have stepped up their games and are battle ready for the primaries.
We were informed that they have started crossing their ‘t’s and dotting their ‘i’s.
“I can authoritatively tell you that no one among the five candidates are sleeping. They are working tirelessly to ensure they clinch the party’s ticket.
“Though within us, we know the mostly likely candidates to emerge as the party’s flag-bearer are Buhari and Atiku. Though Kwankwaso is also in the running, but it is between the earlier two people mentioned.
At this stage, it is all about who can win the hearts of the delegates, not about any other thing. But we must present a sellable candidate that can give PDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) a run for their money.
‘We seriously need it; either Atiku or Buhari can give us that,” our source divulged to us.
