General Overseer of Synagogue Church Of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua, on Friday, lost his bid to stop the probe into the collapse of a building in his church in Ikotun area of Lagos State in 2014, which claimed many lives, mostly South Africans.
The controversial man of God had gone to the court to halt an investigation into the matter, but a ruling by a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja on Friday gave the government the go-ahead to conduct a coroner inquest into the incident.
In September 2014, according to reports, more 90 persons were believed to have lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
In 2015, Joshua hosted family members of the South African victims in Lagos.
There are speculations that the man of God is working hard to sweep the matter under the carpet.
