A suicide bomb attack in Borno State has left about eight persons dead on Saturday morning. The development is coming just as the Nigerian troops, with the help of their foreign counterparts, are reclaiming some lost towns under the control of Boko Haram.
It was learnt that the suicide bomber, who was riding a tricycle popular called ‘Keke NAPEP’ in Nigeria, blew off the explosive in a crowded place in Maiduguri, the state capital.
Apart from the eight people that died in the blast, several others were injured.
Details later.
