The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced the extension of voting till Sunday, March 29, 2015.
This is to make sure that eligible voters are not disenfranchised by the Commission from exercising their civic rights.
In some areas in the country, the card reading machines deployed by INEC for accreditation of voters flopped. Due to the issues in the areas, the Commission extended voting till the next day.
However, neither INEC nor the Police is yet to announce if there would be restriction of movements on Sunday for the polls.
