Oshoala Makes Liverpool Debut

Reigning African female footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala, finally made her debut for Liverpool in the FA Women’s Super League on Wednesday.

Oshoala became the first African female footballer to feature in the league.

She played for Liverpool against Sunderland, but her club lost 2-1.

Oshoala had the opportunity to level the game in the first half when Sunderland first scored, but she miss-fired.

However, in the 73rd minute, she was replaced with Lucy Staniforth, an English youth international.
