El-Rufai's Campaigner Assassinated In Kaduna

A two-man gang reportedly shot dead a man believed to have vigorously campaigned for the Kaduna State governor-elect, Nasir El-Rufai.

The deceased, Markus Ishaya, was murdered by the gunmen on Tuesday in Kaduna at his residence. The assassins reportedly waited till they confirmed that their victim was dead before leaving his compound.

According to reports, no property belonging to the late Ishaya was taken by the killers, which has erased the suspicion of a possible robbery attack.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has condemned the murder of Ishaya, while El-Rufai has urged the police to fish out the perpetrators of the act and bring them to justice.
