A radio station in Kogi State, Ta’o FM, was on Monday night attacked by some hoodlums. The broadcast house was hit with a blast, which left no fewer than three persons dead and many injured.
Ta’o FM, which broadcasts in Ebira language, is located in Kuroko town of Adavi local government area of Kogi State.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 7:15pm on Monday and properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed.
Reports say Ta’o FM is reputed in the state to be very critical of political analysis of Ebira people.
The terrorists initially shot sporadically before using what looked like improvised explosive devices to bomb the radio station.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
