Aproko247 has learnt that two suicide bombers were on Wednesday morning killed by explosives they strapped to their bodies. They were killed before they could reach their final targets at a village in the outskirt of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The incident was the second in three days in the area.
It was further gathered that the two young men wanted to attack residents of Molai community, but they could not carry out their missions before their explosives went off.
They had reportedly tried to enter Molai General Hospital, but were denied access by security guards at the hospital.
Residents, who heard the blasts at around 11:30am, quickly scampered to safety.
However, two other persons near the bombers suffered some injuries.
