Schweinsteiger’s Old Trafford Move ‘Done Deal'

Reports from Germany suggest that Bastian Schweinsteiger’s move to Manchester United is almost a done deal.

A tweet on Saturday afternoon from Bayern Munich’s Twitter handle confirms that the World Cup and Champions League winner has asked his current club to respect his wishes to move to Old Trafford for a new challenge.

“Bastian wants to do something new at the end of his career. He asked that we meet his wishes,” the tweet by Bayern Munich disclosed.

The player’s transfer is believed to be in the region of £15 million.
