US-born female tennis player, Serena Williams has won the 2015 Wimbledon Championships in an astonishing comeback match.
The world number one defeated her Spanish opponent in the Grand Slam final, Garbine Muguruza, to pick her sixth Wimbledon title.
Serena beat Muguruza 6-4 6-4 to claim her 21st Grand Slam title and also complete ‘Serena Slam’ as the holder of all four major titles.
The American, 33, came from a 4-2 loss to beat the 20th seed Spaniard, 21, who was playing her first Gland Slam final, on Centre Court.
She will now be hoping to win the US Open in August to complete her fourth major in 2015.
