Buhari Appoints New Service Chiefs, NSA

President Mohammadu Buhari has appointed new Service Chiefs few moments after he fired the former occupiers of the positions.

A statement issued on Monday in Abuja by the Presidency also confirmed the appointment of a new National Security Adviser to the President.

Here are the new appointees and their designations.

Major-General Abayomi Gabriel Olonishakin – Chief of Defence Staff

Major-General T.Y. Buratai – Chief of Army Staff

Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas – Chief of Naval Staff

Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar – Chief of Air Staff

Air Vice Marshal Monday Riku Morgan – Chief of Defence Intelligence

Major-General Babagana Monguno (rtd.) – National Security Adviser.
