According to a report by The Cable, scores of persons have lost their lives in a pipeline explosion that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday in Arepo, Ogun State.

“Well over 100 people” involved in vandalisation pipelines and theft of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) died during an operation in the early hours of Wednesday, the news medium reports.
It was further reported that the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
“It was while trying to start the speedboat that there was a spark. I learnt that many people died, but more than 100 of them were so burnt that we could not even recognise their faces,” The Cable reports.
