Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, has said he is not too confident of his memory. He made this known during his visit to the United States.
Buhari, while answering questions on Wednesday at the National Democratic Institute, NDI, in Washington DC, acknowledged that he is not too confident about his memory.
When bombarded with questions during a session at the United States Institute of Peace, the President said, “I am not too confident about my memory. Let me answer one question at a time.” This caused laughter among the audience.
During the session, Buhari vowed to deliver on his campaign promises. He said even though he has been described as ‘baba go slow’, he will ensure he achieve success with his slow pace of work.
It would be recalled that during his visit to the US, Buhari mistaken the name of his political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the All Nigeria People’s Congress.
Also, he recently addressed the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel as President and called Germany ‘West Germany’.
